Heater Core Temperature Sensor

The heat exchanger temperature sensors measure the temperature of the heated air downstream of the heater core separately for the left and right sides.

The heat exchanger temperature sensors are temperature dependent resistors. The resistance values measured are transferred to the automatic A/C pushbutton control module. Here the values measured (actual values) are compared with the temperatures set on the automatic A/C pushbutton control module (left and right separately). From the comparison between the actual values and set values the automatic A/C pushbutton control module calculates the opening time for the duovalves and actuates them separately for the left and right side.
