Function




The left front seat adjustment control module with memory (N32/1) connected to the CAN bus is responsible for the following functions:
- Control of the six DC servo-motors in the seat adjustment motor group with memory (M27)
- Recognition of the positions of these motors
- Storage of the seat position with the memory function
- Calling up and moving to previously stored seat positions within the scope of the memory function
- Moving to permanently stored seat positions depending on the longitudinal position of the seat within the scope of the ergonomic feature
- Control of the heated seat/seat ventilation (special equipment)
- Control of the seatbelt automatic we are comfort feature
- Monitoring of the backrest locking function with the left front seat backrest release microswitch (S91/3, model 215 only)

The control module also serves for connecting the:
- Left front seatbelt buckle switch with AB and ETR (S68/3, (USA) only)
- Left front seatbelt buckle and seatbelt wear convenience switch (S68/9)
- Passenger seat occupied and child seat recognition sensor (B48, vehicles with right-hand steering only)
- Left front multicontour backrest control module (N32/15, special equipment)
- Vehicle sensitive seatbelt lock sensor (AGO, model 215 only)
- Left front seat backrest microswitch (S91/1, model 215 only)
