DANGER:
- Risk of explosion from electrolytic gas. Risk of poisoning and irritation if battery acid is swallowed. Risk of injury through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries.
- No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking. Wear acid-resistant gloves, clothing and eye protection. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.

1.1 Fold back trunk luggage cover
1.2 Open engine hood
2 Visual inspection for external leaks

NOTE: If leaks are found, Replace battery


3 Check battery

NOTE: Determine findings, if necessary
- Charge battery.
- Replace battery


4 Check fluid level

NOTE: Except AGM battery
- Top up with distilled water if necessary.
