Component Identification, Part 1:

1 Connect quiescent current retention device (7) as follows:
- Connect terminal of positive cable (+) to positive pole (1) of battery.
- Connect terminal of negative cable (-) to ground (battery) (W10).
2 Switch on quiescent current retention device (7).

Component Identification, Part 2:

3 Disconnect negative battery terminal (1) on battery.
4 Connect Multimeter (2) as follows using the ((Electrical connection set)):
- Connect measuring cable positive ( + ) to negative cable (1) of battery
- Connect measuring cable negative (-) to negative pole (3) of battery

Component Identification, Part 3:

5 Switch on Multimeter (2) (measuring range in amperes)
6 Switch off and disconnect quiescent current retention device (7).
7 Route measuring cable (6) to the right out of the trunk.
8 Close the trunk lid.
