Measure Front Axle Carrier (when Removed)










Remove/Install
1 Remove front axle

Measuring
2 Set up Celette straightening bench modular members
- See set-up diagram for Celette straightening bench.

3 Insert checking fixtures (see set-up diagram) in the mounting bores of the Celette straightening bench and secure

NOTE: We recommend measuring the front axle carrier before or after straightening bench work on the vehicle in question.

4 Place rear axle carrier complete (with axle halves) or as an individual part on the checking fixtures rotated by 18 degrees as shown

NOTE: The adjuster pins (arrows) on the modular member must be inserted into the reference bores in the front-axle carrier.
