Fuel Injector: Service and Repair

Removing and Installing Injection Valves






Removing, installing
1 Unplug connectors (16/1) at the injectors
2 Remove fuel rail (17) together with injectors (Y62)
3 Pull off anti-twist lock (16/7) at the injector (Y62)


NOTE: Installation: The anti-twist lock must engage in the four-point lug (arrow) at the injector (Y52)


4 Take off injector (Y62)


CAUTION: Installation:
- Inspect O-rings of injectors
- replace injectors if necessary.
- Moisten O-ring slightly with oil.


5 Install in the reverse order.
