1 Connect DC clip-on probe (065) of engine tester with oscilloscope (030) to battery (G1/+).
2 Start engine
3 Switch an low beam.
4 Check diode harmonics at 3000 rpm (engine speed).


NOTE: With this test, it is not possible to evaluate the exciter diode.
