Unlocking By Opening A Door, Function

Essentially, any door can be opened from inside even if the vehicle was previously locked using the interior switch or the automatic locking / re-locking function. Opening the driver's or front passenger's door from inside unlocks the vehicle either partially or completely in the following cases:

Opening of driver's or front passenger's door:
If "globally" unlocked beforehand, the vehicle is centrally unlocked once via the door contact switches when one or both front door(s) is/are opened if the vehicle was previously locked using the interior switch or the automatic locking / re-locking function.

The vehicle is only unlocked in this way below the speed threshold for automatic locking.

NOTE: Speed threshold for doors: 15 km/h

If "selectively" unlocked beforehand, the CL is not unlocked via the door contact switches, but only the relevant door is mechanically unlocked.

Opening of rear doors:
The CL is not unlocked, but only the relevant door is mechanically unlocked regardless of whether unlocking is selective or global.

Opening of a door after locking with the transmitter key (vehicle selectively unlocked beforehand):
1. Insert the transmitter key into the ignition lock:
The anti-theft alarm system (ATA), code 551, is deactivated and the interior switches are enabled, but the vehicle is not unlocked.

2a. Open driver's door:
Selective opening occurs.
2b. Open front passenger's door:
Selective opening occurs.

Opening of a door after locking with the transmitter key (vehicle globally unlocked beforehand):
1. Insert the transmitter key into the ignition lock:
The antitheft alarm system (ATA), code 551, is deactivated and the interior switches are enabled, but the vehicle is not unlocked.

2. Open driver's or front passenger's door:
Global opening occurs.

Opening of rear doors:
The CL is not unlocked, but only the relevant door is mechanically unlocked regardless of whether unlocking is selective or global.
