Y2/1 Mechanical supercharger magnetic clutch

For the supercharged engines M112K of AMG the ME 2.8.1 fuel injection and ignition system is used.
It is based on the version ME 2.8, which is used for naturally aspirated engines M112.

Basic differentiating characteristics in contrast to naturally aspirated engines are the pressurized engine control and the charging through the supercharger.

The signal supplied by the pressure sensor (charge air), which is installed in place of the hot film mass air flow sensor, is used as a measure for the air mass supplied to the engine.

The charge air temperature is monitored by the charge air temperature sensor and is reduced by means of a single cooling circuit, the low temperature circuit.

All other base functions of the engine control are identical to those of the naturally aspirated engines M112.
