Driver-Side Power Window Switch Group

Function
The switch positions of the power window switches (S20/1s1, S20/1s2, S20/1s3, S20/1s4) in the driver-side power window switch group (S20/1) are voltage-coded by means of resistors. The coded voltages are scanned by the left front door control module (N69/1).

The power window switches have five mechanical positions:
Center position Neutral
First detent (pull) Manual raising
Second detent (pull) Automatic raising
First detent (push) Manual lowering
Second detent (push) Automatic lowering

The power window switches in the driver-side power window switch group (S20/1) are used to give commands for opening and closing the relevant window. The rear power window safety switch (S20/1s5) can be used to disable operation of the rear power windows using the left rear power window switch (S21/3) and right rear power window switch (S21/4). The trunk lid release switch (S20/1s6) is used to unlock the trunk lid. The switch status is indicated by an LED.
