Function requirements
- Circuit 15R or 15 ON
- No overvoltage or undervoltage
- Reverse gear engaged for t > 1s
- Mirror adjustment switch for right electrically adjustable and heated outside mirror (M21/2) pressed
- Position measurement supplies valid readings
- Function in instrument cluster (A1) not deactivated

Function
If the function prerequisites are fulfilled the right electrically adjustable and heated outside mirror (M21/2) is moved to the parking position.The position set previously is buffered in the right front door control module (N69/2). A manually adjusted parking position is assigned to the transmitter key used by means of the memory block number.

The mirror parking position function is ended if a manually programmed adjustment is performed at any moment.

Mirror return
The right electrically adjustable and heated outside mirror (M21/2) is automatically moved back to the original position if reserve signal is not recognized with a time of
- ≥ = 20s a vehicle speed of
- 10km/h is exceeded
- the left mirror adjustment switch is actuated.

If the right electrically adjustable and heated outside mirror (M21/2) is in the parking position when switching off c. 15,
- the right electrically adjustable and heated outside mirror (M21/2) is set back after a time of t > 1s when circuit 15 is switched back on and the reverse gear is no longer engaged.
If the right electrically adjustable and heated outside mirror (M21/2) is not in the parking position when c. 15 is switched off,

- the right electrically adjustable and heated outside mirror (M21/2) actuated after a time of t > 1s when c. 15 is switched back on again and the reverse gear is engaged.
