Adjustment Of Left/right Outside Rearview Mirror (Illustrated On Left-hand Steering Model)

- Terminal 15 R or 15 ON
Function
Adjustment of the left and right outside rearview mirrors is done by a switches which are located in the light switch module (S1). Selection of the mirror to be adjusted is done by the mirror adjustment switch, left (S1s4)/mirror adjustment switch, right (S1s5).
Using the outside rearview mirror rocker switch, high/low, inwards/outwards (S1s6) enables the following settings to be made:
- mirror glass adjustment horizontal
- mirror glass adjustment. vertical
The adjusting message is sent by the front SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/1) to the CAN.
The left front, door-control module (N69/1), right front, door-control module (N69/2) analyzes the CAN signal and moves the mirror adjustment motor up and down (M21/1m1)/(M21/2m1) and the mirror adjustment motor inwards and outwards (M21/2m1)/(M21/2m2).
The memory feature allows three 3 individual outside rearview mirror positions to be stored arid retrieved.
NOTE: If the key-related storage function is active in the instrument cluster, then this is carried out first. In other words, the outside rearview mirrors are set to the respective positions last assigned to the key.
