GF54.30-P-2013PP Function To Output Audible Alarm Signals
GF54.30-P-2013PP Function To Output Audible Alarm Signals
- MODELS 203.0 /2 /7 up to 23.4.04
Acoustic turn signal indicator (A1h2)
The audible turn signal indicator (<> h2) is integrated in the instrument cluster (A1)A1. The turn signal flasher is always accompanied by an acoustic clicking sound generated in the same rhythm. The audible turn signal indicator (A1h2) is actuated differently depending on the function.
Flashing alarm
The signal to actuate the audible turn signal indicator (A1h2) during hazard warning flashing comes from the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (<>) via the Controller Area Network bus class B (interior) (CAN-B)N10/1. For this purpose the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) receives a corresponding message from the upper control panel control unit (N72/1).
Turn signal indicator flashing
The signal to actuate the high beam indicator lamp (A1e3) comes from the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) via the CAN-B. If one of the turn signal lamps fails, the "audible turn signal indicator" (A1h2) is actuated at twice the usual frequency. The instrument cluster (A1) receives information about the defective turn signal lamp from the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) or rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) via the CAN-B.
Anti-theft alarm system flashing (with code (551a) anti-theft alarm system (ATA))
The signal to actuate the high beam indicator lamp (A1e3) comes from the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) via the CAN-B.
Flashing for special functions with code (450) taxi version
The signal to actuate the high beam indicator lamp (A1e3) comes from the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) via the CAN-B. For this purpose the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) receives a corresponding message from the special vehicle multifunction control unit (SVMCU [MSS]) (N26/9) via the CAN-B.
Warning tone
The instrument cluster (A1) has a speaker which for various faults and operating conditions emits a warning tone with a duration of approx. t = 0.2 seconds and a frequency of about 2000 Hz.
A warning tone is emitted:
- In the event of "circuit 15C ON", i.e. the transmitter key (A8/1) is inserted in the electronic ignition switch control unit (N73) and the driver door is open. The message "circuit 15C ON" comes from the electronic ignition switch control unit (N73), the door contact signal comes from the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) via the CAN-B.
- When the standing lamp was switched on automatically, "circuit 15R OFF" is present and the driver door is open. The messages "circuit 15C OFF", "circuit 15C ON" and "circuit 15R OFF" come via the CAN-B from the electronic ignition switch control unit (N73), the door contact signal from the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) and the signal for automatic driving lamps from the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).
- The brake fluid level and parking brake warning lamp (A1e7), lights up when the vehicle starts to move before the parking brake is released. The signal to actuate comes from the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) via the CAN-B.
- With display of a fault message or warning message of medium or highest priority in the multifunction display (A1p13).
- When the standing lamp was switched on manually, the transmitter key (A8/1) was removed and the driver door is open. The message "circuit 15C ON" comes via the CAN-B from the electronic ignition switch control unit (N73), the door contact signal comes from the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) and the standing lamp signal comes from the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1).
- On vehicles with code (623) Gulf States version when a speed of 120 km/h is exceeded. The warning tone is muted as soon as the speed is < 117 km/h.
- On vehicles with code (498) Japan version or code (491) USA version when the seat belt warning lamp (A1e9) is actuated. The signal to actuate comes from the restraint systems control unit (N2/7) via the CAN-B.
