Remove/Install Activated Charcoal Canister

Remove/Install

DANGER:
- Risk of death. Death may result if vehicle slips or topples from the lifting platform.
- Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

1 Raise vehicle.
2 Take off right rear wheel
- Wheelbolt = 110 Nm

3 Remove right rear fender liner (1)

DANGER:
- Risk of explosion from fuel igniting, risk of poisoning from inhaling and swallowing fuel as well as risk of injury to eyes and skin from contact with fuel.
- No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking.
- Pour fuels only into suitable and appropriately marked containers.
- Wear protective clothing when handling fuel.

4 Detach vent line (activated charcoal canister ->Motor) (2) and vent line (fuel tank -> Activated charcoal canister) (3) activated charcoal canister (4)

NOTE: Installation: Observe connection diagram of fuel evaporation control system.

5 Push back clip (5)

NOTE: Push activated charcoal canister (4) up (arrow) for this step and take out.

6 Install in the reverse order
