Accelerator Pedal: Service and Repair

AR30.12-P-1321P Remove/Install Accelerator Pedal







Remove/Install

1 Remove plug (1)
2 Unscrew nut (2)

NOTE: Installation: Replace nut (2).

3 Pull out accelerator pedal (3)

NOTE:
- The accelerator pedal (3) must not be disassembled.
- Installation: Ensure, that the recess of the accelerator pedal is seated in the bracket (4) of the firewall.

4 Separate electrical connector of accelerator pedal sensor (B37)

NOTE: Installation: ensure that lines are routed properly.

5 Separate electrical connector from kickdown switch (S16/6)

NOTE: Installation: ensure that lines are routed properly.

6 Remove accelerator pedal (3)
7 Install in the reverse order
8 Read out DTC memory
