Retrieving Stored Outside Rearview Mirror Position

Retrieving Stored Mirror Position Function:

Function prerequisites
- No over or under voltage
- Terminal/5R or 15 ON
- No blocking detected

Function
The stored positions for the left electrically adjustable and heated outside rearview mirror (M21/1) and right (M21/2) can be retrieved using the left front door seat adjustment switch train (memory) (S91/2) (Right-hand steering: right front door seat adjustment switch train (memory) (S92/2)).

To do this the storage space 1,2,3 switch (S91/2s14) on the left front door seat adjustment switch train (memory) (S91/12) is set to the desired storage position and then the Memory switch (S91/2s9) is pressed.

The left front, door-control module (N69/1) and the right front, door-control module (N69/2) set the outside rearview mirrors to the positions stored for the current storage-block number and the relevant position set on the storage space 1,2,3 switch (S91/2s14).

The outside rearview mirror motors are actuated by the door control module for as long as it takes to detect the position measurement of the position to be set.

NOTE:
Memory feature
The steering column and the driver's seat move to their relevant stored positions at the same time as the stored outside rearview mirror positions are retrieved.
