Left Front Door Control Module - N69/1



Purpose
The driver-side front door control module (N69/1) senses the window position of the driver's door and stores this information on the passenger compartment bus (CAN B).

The pushbutton control module reads in the signal of the driver's door window position via the CAN B bus to obtain a better control quality when open.






Purpose, Convenience Locking, Recirculated Air



The purpose of the left front door control module (N69/1) is as follows:

Reading in the following switches:
- Left front power window switch (S20/1s1)
- Left rear power window switch (S20/1s3)
- Rear power window safety switch (S20/1s5)
- Remote trunk lid release switch (S20/1s6)
- Left front power seat switch group (memory) (S91/1)

Reading in the following sensors
- Position sensor for left electrically adjustable and heated extenor rearview mirror (M21/1)
- Hall signals for left front power window motor (M10/3)
- Left front IR receiver (A26/1)


Switching loads via semi-conductor switches:
- Left front power window motor (M10/3)
- Left rear power window motor (M10/5)
- Left front door central locking motor (M14/6)
- Motors for left electrically adjustable and heated exterior rearview mirror (M21/l)
- Mirror heater (M21/1r1)
- Automatic dimming inside rearview mirror (M21/h1); (special equipment)
- Turn signals for left electrically adjustable and heated exterior rearview mirror (M21/1)
- Left front door entrance/exit lamp (E17/3)
- Control illumination features for all switches connected to door control module

The left front door control module (N69/1) is connected with the passenger compartment CAN bus for exchanging data.


NOTE: The right front door control module (N69/2) is coded as driver or passenger control module via the EIS control module (N73). This description applies by analogy for vehicles with right-hand steering.
