Power Window Obstruction Sensor

Obstruction sensor for window raising

Function

NOTE: The obstruction sensor operates during both manual and automatic raising

The obstruction sensor is active under the following conditions:
- Obstruction force of FEmax = 60 N
- Automatic raising and FEmax 100 N
- Manual raising with a force/path rate of 1.5 N/mm to 20 N/mm when the window is opened 3 to 230 mm.

The time span from detection of the obstruction until reversal of the drive motor is t < 20 ms.

If the signal for automatic raising or the signal for manual raising after automatic activation still exists at the time of the obstruction, then the drive motor is merely stopped. If then the neutral position of the operating switch is detected, the window is opened by 10 mm.

If the signal for "switch in neutral position" is detected at the time of the obstruction, the window is opened by 200 mm.

NOTE: These functions are controlled by the door control modules (N69/1, N69/2, N69/3, N69/4).

NOTE: Model 203.7 has no rear door control modules or power window motors.
