Activate Heater Operation, Function

Heating operation can be started immediately (manually) or automatically at the preselected time.

The manual triggering can be conducted with:
- the STH radio remote control transmitter (A8/3) from a max. distance of 300 m

or

- using the STH switch (S46) in models 215 and 220 or the STH switch (N72s12) in models 203, 209 and 230 in the vehicle itself

For automatic activation
- the STH radio remote control receiver (A6/1)
(models 215 and 220 up to 31.05.00)

or

- the instrument cluster (A1)
(models 215 and 220 as of 01.06.00 and models 203, 209 and 230) must have a preselect time activated in them.
