Camshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair

Removing and installing camshaft Hall sensor

Shown On Engine 137 In Model 215:

1 Remove air cleaner
2 Remove intake manifold

NOTE: Suspend intake manifold complete with inlet connection, intake air pipes and fuel rail at hood.

CAUTION: The intake manifold must not be disassembled

3 Unplug connector (arrow) of electrical connection of left camshaft Hall sensor (B6/2) and right camshaft Hall sensor (B6/3).
4 Remove camshaft Hall sensors (B6/2, B6/3)
- Camshaft Hall sensor to cylinder head cover: 7 Nm

5 Install in the reverse order.
