A to working chamber in camshaft adjuster
P Engine oil feed (pressure side) when valve actuated
T Engine oil return flow (pressureless)

Electromagnetic valve with coil, armature, compression spring and control plunger. When deenergized, connections A and T are linked hydraulically. When energized, the control plunger opens connections A and P. Return flow T is shut off.
