Cooling System: Description and Operation
General Information on Coolant Preheater
In order to protect the engine from cooling down completely at low outside temperatures, an electrical coolant preheater is built into the water circuit of the engine, in order to keep the engine coolant warm or to warm it up.
The electrical coolant preheater can be built into the water circuit of the engine subsequently or can be retrofit.
The engine coolant preheater can be connected to the local mains supply using the plug provided on the device. It has a power consumption of 500 W at a voltage of 230 V or 115 V.
For retrofitting:
The spare parts are listed in Group 20 of the ET documentation for the corresponding engine.
