Power Door Lock Switch: Service and Repair

Removing And Installing Front Door Lock Switch

Illustrated On Model 208:

1 Disconnect ground lead from battery
2 Remove door liners on front doors
3 Pull off door foil in area of door lock and disconnect door control module (N69/1, N69/2)
4 Disconnect lock switch connector (S86/1x1, S87/1x1) and expose lead

NOTE: Installation: Replace connectors

5 Pull lock switch (S86/1, S87/1) off of door lock
- For this purpose press the catch lug on the switch housing behind the electrical lead for the lock switch outward

6 Reinstall in opposite order
7 Check central locking for proper function
