The objective the information call service is to offer the user a quick and convenient way to contact the Mercedes Customers Assistance Center (CAC).
The information call is triggered manually by the driver. By selecting the corresponding menu (information service) on the telephone handset (A34) a connection is automatically established with the CAC by the D2B telephone and TELE AID transmitter/receiver (A35/17) via mobile telephone (digital network). The pure voice connection can be used without any costs to check all available information in context wit the vehicle.

- Mercedes-Benz Card services
- Information on DaimlerChrysler
- Questions on technical and service subjects
- Leasing or financing offers
- Information brochures for accessories

The information call service is only available when the system is authorized.
