Driving Forward

When driving forwards, only the front sensors and the front warning displays are active.

Detection range:
Vehicle center: approx. 100 cm
Outside of vehicle: approx. 60 cm

Obstacles are no longer detected at ranges less than approx. 20 cm at the vehicle center and approx. 15 cm at the side.

The detection range is divided into a left-hand and a right-hand sector, each with three sensors and one visual/acoustic warning display.

The side sensors also detect obstacles to the side of the vehicle, e.g. high curbs, walls, bushes, poles, signposts etc. Warnings may therefore occur even when there is no obstacle in front of the vehicle.
