Removal, Installation and Adjustment of Limit Switch - Top Locked At Front


Preceding work:
Removal of window key on upper wind protector
Removal of trim on upper windshield Service and Repair






Plug connector (c)
disconnect.
Screws (arrows, 3 pieces)
unscrew.
Lock
take out.
Screw (1)
unscrew.
Plastic guide over wire
unclip (if fitted).
Microswitch with wire
remove.
Installation takes place in reverse sequence.

NOTE: Check limit switch adjustment with top tester (lock funnel screwed on, lock with plastic wedge placed underneath).


Check adjustment
Top tester
connect.
Adjustment 3 times
check.


Adjustment
Front lock
expose.
Screws (arrows)
unscrew.
Lock
raise and place plastic wedge underneath.
Screw (1)
detach.
With limit switch in elongated hole
traverse.

Actual dimension less than nominal value:
With limit switch downwards in elongated hole
travel.

Actual dimension more than nominal value:
With limit switch upwards in elongated hole
travel.
Screw(1)
fasten.
Adjustment with top tester
check (3 times).

Installation takes place in reverse sequence.
