GF82.70-P-2001QA Terminating/Ending Call, Function
- with CODE (813) Voice control system (VCS)
Component Identification:
If during a telephone call the VCS switch (S93/2) is operated in the direction away from the driver then as a result the voice recognition of the voice control system (VCS) is deactivated and the existing connection is disconnected. Voice recognition is integrated in the voice control system control unit (A35/11). The telephone call can be deactivated at any time. If the user is in input mode, then using the hands-free system microphone (B25) he can deactivate voice recognition and thus the VCS with the voice command "Abort". Deactivation is likewise possible at any point of the input mode.
Ending telephone call
On vehicles with multifunction steering wheel (MFL) the telephone call is ended via the accept/terminate phone call button (S111s3). If after the telephone call has ended the user omits to press the accept/terminate phone call button (S111s3), even if the person he was talking to has already hung up, then telephone call for the VCS applies as not ended.
An incoming phone call can thus not be recognized by the VCS, i.e. the connection is not made.
