GF82.20-P-3005Q Automatic Entrance/Exit Lamp Actuation, Function
GF82.20-P-3005Q Automatic Entrance/Exit Lamp Actuation, Function
Component Identification:
Basic conditions:
^ The vehicle is unlocked.
^ The rain/light sensor (B38/2) signals "night".
^ The dome lamp switch (N70s3) in the overhead control panel control unit (N70) is adjusted to "open door".
^ There is no undervoltage or overvoltage.
Function sequence when opening a door
Depending on the switching status of the left door contact switch (S17/3) and/or right door contact switch (S17/4), the left door and/ or right door open status is reported to the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2 .
The rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) detects, via the changed switching position of the left door contact switch (S17/3) and/or right door contact switch (S17/4), that one or both doors were open and transmits the CAN message "door open" to the overhead control panel control unit (N70) via the interior CAN.
The overhead control panel control unit (N70) starts the inquiry from the rain/light sensor (B38/2) and receives the message "night".
The overhead control panel control unit (N70) transmits the CAN message "door open" to the left door control unit (N69/1) and/or to the right door control unit (N69/2) which actuates the respective left door entrance/exit lamp (E17/3) and/or right door entrance/exit lamp (E17/4).
The entrance/exit lamps are switched off when the corresponding vehicle door is closed.
If the vehicle door remains open for longer than 5 minutes, the respective entrance/exit lamp is switched off automatically via the overhead control panel control unit (N70).
Switching on again after automatic switch-off
The duty cycle is extended restarts once there is a status or change at the left door contact switch (S17/3) or right door contact switch (S17/4).
The duty cycle is likewise extended or restarts once "circuit 15 ON" is activated via the electronic ignition switch control unit (N73) or the vehicle is locked or unlocked and as a result the interior CAN is deactivated or activated.
The CAN message "night" is set in the event of a defect in the rain/light sensor (B38/2).
The entrance/exit lamps are independent of the adjustment of the automatic driving light actuation in the instrument cluster (A1).
