AZ88.50-P-0001-01T Retrofit AMG Rear Spoiler







1. Install rear spoiler (1) on trunk lid (3), center and mark position on trunk lid (3) on outer left and right with adhesive tape (TESA masking tape) (2).

Ensure that the distance to the outside side on the trunk lid (3) is uniform.







2. Loosen protective foil (4) approx. 50 mm on center of rear spoiler (1).

The area on the trunk lid to be glued must be free of dust and grease. To clean use a 50 : 50 mixture of IPA (iso-propanol alcohol) and water.

3. Center rear spoiler (1) with outer edge of trunk lid (3) and attach in area where foil is removed

Check position of rear spoiler (1).







4. Pull out protective foil (4) in increments of 15 - 20 cm on one side, first at bottom and at top, starting at center and press on rear spoiler (1).

Do not pull out entire protective foil (4) at once

Check position of rear spoiler (1).







5. Press rear spoiler (1) onto trunk lid (3) firmly from inside toward outside with clean cotton rag

Remove air bubbles from adhesive tape.







6. To increase process safety during installation of rear spoiler (1), press rear spoiler (1) onto trunk lid (3) with a 3M load roller (5) starting at one side.

When pressing on ensure that the pressure is applied directly on the adhesive tape

The maximum adhesive force is reached after approx. 72 hours at 20 °C. Avoid any contact with moisture (e.g. rain, fog, carwash) within the first 24 hours. Prevent any mechanical stress.
