Check Brake Lining Thickness







DANGER:
- Risk of death. Death may result if vehicle slips or topples from the lifting platform.
- Align vehicle between the columns of the hydraulic hoist and position the four support plates below the hoist support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

1 Remove the front wheels
2 Remove rear wheels.

Measuring
3 Measure brake lining thickness of brake

NOTE:
- Brake pads installed, observe pads on front axle recommended limit dimensions so that the wear limit is not violated before the next maintenance service, if necessary replace brake pads on front axle.
- Test values for front axle.

4.1 Measure brake lining thickness of brake pads at rear axle using special tool brake pad gauge
- Except model 211.076

NOTE:
- Brake pads installed, observe recommended limit dimensions so that the wear limit is not violated before the next maintenance service, if necessary replace brake pads on rear axle.
- Information on checking brake pads

4.2 Measure brake lining thickness of brake pads on rear axle using caliper gauge
- Model 211.076
