Complaint:

Fault in electrical consumers in trunk lid.

- Stop lamp nonfunctional

- Taillamp nonfunction

- License plate illumination nonfunctional

- Backup lamp nonfunctional

- Rear fog lamp nonfunctional

- Rear standing lamps nonfunctional

Cause:

Broken cable in trunk lid wiring harness

Remedy:

Wiring harness routing modified.

Removal of existing cable strap.

Installation of a 150 mm long split corrugated tube.

1. The maximum diameter of corrugated house should only be used on vehicles with remote trunk lid locking because the installation space inside the paneling is not quite sufficient for the 13.6 mm tube. (The paneling distorts a little and may chafe on the frame of the trunk lining on the left).

2. In vehicles without remote trunk lid locking a corrugated hose with outside diameter 11.4 (nominal width 8.5) is sufficient and will not distort the paneling.
