Adjust Side Stops on Trunk Lid

Gap Dimensions:

1 Slacken retaining screws of stops (8) and position stops fully to the inside

2 Coat stops (9) in trunk lid opening with chalk

3 Close trunk lid


NOTE: Press trunk lid closed with caution, do not slam it shut!


4 Check chalk marks on stops (8)

5 Position stops gradually toward the outside until the chalk can be seen evenly on both sides


NOTE: While doing this, continually check transition points on body, gap dimensions and closing force required for trunk lid.
