Function
The transmitter key (A8/1) sends an infrared signal to the left front IR receiver (A26/1) or the right front IR receiver (A26/2). The overhead control panel control module (N70) receives the request for "convenience opening" via CAN and actuates the sun blind motor (M24m1) in the "open sun blind" direction. This opens the panoramic sliding roof sun blind.
To open the panoramic sliding roof, the "Unlock" button on the transmitter key (A8/1) must be pressed once again.
The "open sun blinds" function will only be executed for as long as the "Unlock" button on the transmitter key (A8/1) is pressed
The convenience opening function for the panoramic sliding roof is aborted if
- The request is no longer received via CAN, or
- The function requirements listed above are no longer satisfied.
The convenience opening function also opens the windows.
