- Panoramic sliding roof closed

Function
The transmitter key (A8/1) sends an infrared signal to the left front IR receiver (A26/1) or the right front IR receiver (A26/2). The overhead control panel control module (N70) receives the request for convenience closing via CAN and actuates the sun blind motor (M24m1) in the "close sun blind" direction.

The motor remains actuated for as long as the "Lock" button on the transmitter key (A8/1) is pressed.

The convenience closing function for the sun blind is aborted if
- The request is no longer received via CAN, or
- The function requirements listed above are no longer satisfied.
The convenience closing function also closes the windows.
