Panoramic sliding roof lock-up recognition function

The overhead control panel control module (N70) receives the voltage pulses sent by the two Hall sensors on the sun blind motor (M24m1), Hall sensor 1 (M24b1) and Hall sensor 2 (M24b2), and uses this data for position measurement.
If no Hall sensor pulses are received for more than 0.2 seconds during sun blind actuation the drive unit is deactivated.

Hall sensor failure represents a denormalization.
The sun blind can then only be closed in increments of t = 160 ms by means of the roof system switch (N70s1), or alternatively by using the emergency crank.
Overload protection is provided by a mechanical thermal circuit breaker installed in the sun blind motor (M24m1).
