Component Identification:

After a cold start the fuel-air mixture is enriched for a short time to ensure that the engine runs smoothly.
Post-start enrichment compensates for the fuel which precipitates on the cylinder barrels.

The post-start enrichment is dependent on:
^ Coolant temperature at start
^ Period (combustion cycles) after the start
^ Selector lever position (with transmission 722)
^ Correction programming with STAR DIAGNOSIS
