Component Identification:

Functions for the case of "ignition ON"
^ The gas injection and ignition system is supplied with voltage over the front / driver SAM control unit
^ For protect against cylinder flooding, the fuel pump is actuated for approx. 2 seconds (only for first "Ignition ON")
^ Engine diagnosis indicator lamp (or for United States of America CHECK ENGINE indicator lamp) lights up for about 1 second (lamp check)
^ Data exchange with the EIS control unit via the CAN data bus (circuit 50 signal)
^ The fault memory can be read out and cleared via the data link connector.
^ Correction programming or diagnoses can be undertaken using STAR DIAGNOSIS
