Removal:
1 Using a suitable drift, hammer roll pin (19) for the differential pinion shaft (16) out of the differential case (13).
2 Use assembly mandrel to knock differential pinion shaft (16) out of differential case (13).

With 185 mm dia. ring gear, use assembly mandrel 123 589 06 15 00.

For ring gear [diameter] 198 mm and 210 mm use assembly drift 126 589 02 15 00.

Installation
3 Use assembly mandrel to knock differential pinion shaft (16) into differential case (13).

In the process pay attention to the bore for the roll pin (19).

With 185 mm dia. ring gear, use assembly mandrel 123 589 06 15 00.
For ring gear [diameter] 198 mm and 210 mm use assembly drift 126 589 02 15 00.

4 Knock spring pin (19) in until it seats centrally in the differential pinion shaft (16).
