The voice control system (VCS) allows the user to create a list of stations. Stations selected frequently can be stored here together with freely selectable names or the proper station name. 10 entries can be stored.
To create or expand the personal list of stations after activating the audio system, the user has to say the command "Save station" after activating the voice control system (VCS) via the VCS switch (S93/2).
After this command the user is requested by the voice control system (VCS) to enter of a station name through the feedback "Please say name".
If this name has been entered by the user, the voice control system (VCS) requests the user to say the name again as confirmation. If a different name is given when the name is entered the second time (confirmation), the voice control system (VCS) voice output requests the user to "Please say again" . If the user then repeats the name sait first, the voice control system (VCS) requests the user to repeat it again. The voice control system (VCS) stores the station list entry (name and associated station) in the station list only when the associated name and its repetition are identical.
The voice control system (VCS) voice output then indicates "Station stored".
Calling up station list entries
The voice control system (VCS) user can use the command "Read list of stations" to have the complete list of stations read out. In doing so, the user can select a certain station name in order to set a new station. Selection is accomplished by actuating the VCS switch (S93/2).
Selecting station from station list
The user can use the command "Select station" to select a station from the list of stations. After this editing command, the user is requested by the voice control system (VCS) to "Please say name" for entry of the station name. If the user says the name specified previously while storing the station, then the voice control system (VCS) switches to the desired station after the user has repeated the station name.
Deleting individual entries from the station list
After activating the voice control system (VCS) using the VCS switch (S93/2) the user can use the command "Delete station" to delete an individual entry in the list of stations. The voice control system (VCS) then requests that the name of the station to be deleted is stated. After entry of the station name by the user, he/she is asked, if he/ she really wants to delete the name. If the user answers "Yes", the specified station name is deleted from the station list, the message "Station deleted" being displayed. If the user answers "No" or if too much time elapses, the deletion process is aborted and the station name is retained. Any other word spoken by the user terminates the dialog with the voice control system (VCS).
Delete entire station list
After activating the voice control system (VCS) using the VCS switch (S93/2) the user can use the command "Delete station list" to delete all entries from the list of stations. The command is followed by a voice control system (VCS) voice output, asking whether the list of stations really should be deleted. If the user answers with "Yes", then he/she is asked by a voice output: "Are you sure?". If the user answers this question with "Yes", all station list entries are deleted. If they answers with "No", the voice control system (VCS) starts reading the station list entries aloud again.
While the station list is being read aloud, the user can select a station to be deleted by activating the VCS switch S93/2 in direction of the driver. The selected station is then repeated by the voice control system (VCS). The user is then asked, if he/she really wants to delete the selected station. If the user answers "Yes", the specified station is deleted from the station list. If they answer with "No", the voice control system (VCS) continues reading the station list entries aloud. Any other word terminates dialog with the voice control system (VCS). The user can end the dialogue at any time and deactivate the voice control system (VCS) by pushing the VCS switch (S93/2) away from the driver.
