- MODEL 203.0 /2 /7 as of 1.7.02 up to 23.4.04

Travel time "Since start" (short-distance memory), function

Time elapsed since start

Travel time "Since reset" (long-distance memory), function

Time elapsed since the last reset

The "Since start" and "Since reset" screens for the travel time can be activated using the system selection button (S110s3) and the scroll forward/back button (S110s1) on the multifunction steering wheel.

Since the time is only counted from position 2 (circuit 15 ON) of the transmitter key (A8/1), the instrument cluster (A1) requires information about the position of the transmitter key (A8/1) in the EIS [EZS] control unit (N73). The EIS [EZS] control unit (N73) passes this information on the class B (interior) controller area network bus (CAN-B) and it is received by the instrument cluster (A1).
If the display of travel time or travel distance exceeds the maximum display value, the travel time and travel distance are reset automatically in the relevant memory. This preserves the relationship between travel time and mileage.
