Removal and Replacement

AR35.20-P-0116P Remove/Install Supporting Joint on Wheel Carrier (wheel carrier installed)







DANGER:
- Lethal injuries are possible if vehicle slips off of lifting platform
- Align vehicle between the four pillars of the hoist and position the four support plates at the hoist mounting points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

CAUTION: Installation: replace self-locking nuts

1 Remove spring link (6) at wheel carrier (7)

CAUTION: Installation: When tightening the nuts the rear axle should be brought as close as possible into the horizontal plane.

2 Push wheel carrier (7) upwards out of spring link (6)

CAUTION: Installation: Do not damage rubber collar on the supporting joint when running in to the spring link

3 Remove supporting joint (7a) to wheel carrier
4 Install in the reverse order
