The following components are integrated into the window antenna
amplifier module 1 (A2/71):
^ Amplifier for AM antenna
^ Filter and amplifier with diversity system for FM antennas
^ Reception unit for the radio remote central locking
^ Filter and amplifier with diversity system for TV antennas (optional)

The processed signals are picked up by the appropriate control units via coaxial connection sockets.

Antenna connections
Extremely conductive silicone material is used as the electrical connection material between the antennas in the rear window and window antenna amplifier module 1 (A2/71). The silicone material is pressed against the silver surfaces of the antennas by spring force.

The rear window is always equipped with all antennas, irrespective of the special equipment. With window antenna amplifier module 1 (A2/71) there are differences with regard to the national versions ((United States Of America), (Japan)) and the TV option.

Observe repair notes when installing and removing the rear window.
