C. Installing the SDAR Control Module
1. In the exposed right side trunk well, find the:^ SDAR antenna leads (A, Figure 7)
^ SDAR D2B cable (B, Figure 7)
^ SDAR power supply cable (C, Figure 7)
2. In the right side trunk well, remove the amplifier bracket-or amplifier assembly, if so equipped-by removing the 8-mm bolt (A, Figure 8) and 8-mm collar nut (B, Figure 8).
3. Mount the SDAR control module to the bracket with three kit-included M5 hex nuts (Figure 9).
4. Remove the 8-mm collar nut from the rear arm of the linear compensator bracket (Figure 10).
5. Mount the SDAR control module/bracket assembly to the right side well of the trunk:
a. Use the 8-mm collar nut removed in Step 4 (Figure 10) to secure the upper bracket arm to the threaded stud holding the linear compensator (A, Figure 11).
b. Use the 8-mm collar nut removed in Step 2 (B, Figure 8) to secure the lower, rear fastening point of the bracket to the threaded stud (B, Figure 11).
c. Use the 8-mm bolt removed in Step 2 (A, Figure 8) to secure the front fastening point of the bracket (C, Figure 11).
6. Carefully cut the wire tie bundling the antenna leads, D2B cable, and power supply cable.
7. Fold back the foam sleeves to expose the preinstalled antenna lead connectors.
8. Connect the blue and white antenna lead connectors to the like colored receptacles on the SDAR control module (A, Figure 12).
9. Fold down the foam sleeves to cover the coupled SDAR antenna connectors.
10. Connect the power supply connector to the SDAR control module (B, Figure 12).
11. Connect the D2B connector to the SDAR control module (C, Figure 12).
