Function requirements:
- C. 15C, C. 15R and C. 15 ON
- No overvoltage or undervoltage
- All doors closed (status: locked)
- No control module sending central closing messages,
- Hold unlock button on remote control key (A8/1) depressed for longer than 1 s

Operation
Via corresponding:
- Left front door control module (N69/1)
- Right front door control module (N69/2)
- Left rear door control module (N69/3)
- Right rear door control module (N69/4)
the CAN message for convenience closing is received via the CAN passenger compartment bus

Via the CAN message the:
- Left front power window motor (M10/3)
- Right front power window motor (M10/4)
- Left rear power window motor (M10/5)
- Right rear power window motor (M10/6) are actuated.

The motors remain actuated for as long as the button on the remote control key is pressed, though for no longer than 25 s.

Model 203.7 has no rear door control modules or power window motors.

The convenience closing feature for the power windows is also performed when the windows are not synchronized The power windows are actuated as they are during manual raising. The obstruction protection is active only in the case of synchronized windows.

The convenience closing function is interrupted, if:
- lockup is detected
- the request is no longer received via the CAN bus
- the function prerequisites listed above are no longer fulfilled

When the convenience closing function is actuated the sliding/ pop-up roof (on model 203.0 and 203.2) is also closed. In model 203.7 it closes the panoramic sliding roof.
