GF82.30-P-4008PP Anti-Block Device For Wiper Motor, Function

MODEL 203.0 /2 /7 up to Model Year 8

Lock-up recognition
Lockup of the wiper motor (M6/1) is detected by the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) via the absence of cam switch signals

Lockup protection for function, wiping in stage 2
If the signal from the cam switch is missing for longer than 4 seconds, the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) switches the wiper motor (M6/1) back to stage 1.
If the signal does not appear for a further 8 seconds, the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) switches the wiper motor (M6/1) off.
If though during this 8 seconds a signal is received from the cam switch, the wiper motor (M6/1) is switched on again to stage 2.

Lockup protection for one-touch wiping, intermittent wiping, washing and stage 1 wiping functions
With these functions the front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/1) switches the wiper motor (M6/1) off if no cam switch signals are received for longer than 12 seconds.

In all cases, the lock-up protection is discontinued when the relevant function is requested again by pressing the combination switch (S4) or circuit 15R is switched on again.
If the wiper motor (M6/1) locks up again after discontinuation of the lock-up protection feature, it is switched off again as described above.
