GF91.29-P-3005PP Seat Calibration Function
- with CODE (275) Electrically adjustable driver seat, steering column and outside mirrors with memory
- with CODE (242) Electrically adjustable front passenger seat with memory
- up to Model Year 8
Normalizing
Normalizing is important for the assignment between the absolute adjustment position and the position recorded by the driver-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/1) and the passenger- side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/2).
Normalization must be performed during initial start-up or in a denormalized condition.
The following seat stops have to be moved to for the normalization procedure:
- Seat longitudinal adjustment: front stop position
- Seat angle adjustment: lower stop position
- Seat height adjustment: lower stop position
- Seat backrest adjustment: front stop position
- Seat head restraint adjustment upper stop
Operating procedure
Operate the seat fore/aft switch (S91/2s1 and S92/2s1), the rear seat raise/lower switch (S91/2s2 and S92/2s2), the front seat raise/lower switch (S91/2s3 and S92/2s3), the head restraint raise/lower switch (S91/2s4 and S92/2s4) and the backrest switch (S91/2s5 and S92/2s5) in the left front door seat adjustment switch group (Memory) (S91/2) and the right front door seat adjustment switch group (Memory) (S92/2), until the mechanical stop has been reached and hold down for an additional 0.25 seconds.
Renormalization
Renormalization takes place if one of the two above-mentioned stop positions is moved to in a normalized state.
Denormalization
Denormalization takes place:
- the battery is disconnected (G1) or
- the mechanical stop is exceeded.
