1 Remove front spring strut (11).
2 Clamp spring compressor in vice and install spring fittings
3 Install strut (11) in compressor
NOTE: Start by adjusting opening: X= 155mm
4 Compress spring (12), continuing until it no longer exerts pressure against the upper spring mount
NOTE: X = 30 mm
5 Unscrew grooved nut (11 a)
NOTE: Counter the piston rod using an Alien wrench.
6 Remove ball joint (11c)
7 Remove strut (11)
8 Release tension on compressor, remove spring (12) and upper spring mount

9 Inspect strut (11)
NOTE: Check strut insert for leakage. A thin film of oil on the strut insert is acceptable.
10 Place the spring (12) in the spring compressor
NOTE: Start by adjusting opening: X= 215 mm
11 Clamp spring (12)
12 Install strut (11) with lower rubber bushing (13b) and jounce stop (11f)
13 Install upper rubber bushing (13a), ball joint (11c) and support (11i)
