Sequence of opening soft top (only possible with v < approx. 4 km/h)
Convertible top closed
Continuously actuate soft top operating button (S84/10) (pull).The indicator lamp flashes until the procedure is completely.

Stage A
All side window (1) open.

Stage B
The rear window (2) moves up to the vertical position while the windows open.

Stage C
Soft top compartment (3) opens up to end stop.

Stage D
Rear window (1) moves to "drive" position.







Stage E
Soft top (4) opens from windshield.

Stage F
While the soft top (4) moves into the soft top compartment, the left and right covers (5) on the soft top cover move to the end position "Close soft top".

Stage G
Soft top cover closes and arrests forward in the end position (6).

Stage H
Side windows (1) close completely.

If the rear head restraints are pulled out, they are lowered automatically when the soft top is actuated.

Subsequent pressure times for the hydraulic cylinders Even when the individual limit switch positions are reached the corresponding hydraulic cylinder remains actuated for a short time to compensate tolerances of the limit switch points.

Remote trunk release is not possible until the soft top has been completely opened
The opening procedure is immediately interrupted (stop function) for safety reasons, when the soft top operating button (S84/10) is actuated.

If a head restraint is not completely retracted, the soft top cannot be actuated electrically.
