AR32.20-P-0300P Remove/Install Torsion Bar on Front Axle

Remove/install Torsion Bar On Front Axle







DANGER:
- Lethal injuries are possible if vehicle slips off of lifting platform
- Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

1 Raise vehicle.
2 Dismount front torsion bar (10) at link rods (10a)

NOTE:
- Ensure that the rubber boot is not twisted or damaged.
- Counterhold ball head bolts of link rods (10a)

3 Detach front torsion bar (10) from front axle carrier

NOTE: Pull off rubber mount, check and replace if necessary.

CAUTION: Do not use grease or sliding compound so as not to damage the rubber mount.

4 Install in the reverse order
