- with CODE (596) Heat-insulating glass
1 Cut pink line (rs) of navigation processor wiring harness (1) as shown in the picture until 30 mm of the pink line (rs) remain in front of the wrapping of the navigation processor wiring harness (1).
Cut pink line (rs) is no longer required.
2 Check chamber assignment of black, 8-pin navigation processor coupling (12):
- Chamber 1 brown wire (voltage supply -)
- Chamber 2 red/white wire (voltage supply +)
- Chamber 5 pink wire (MOST wake-up line).
If the chambers are not correctly assigned, open black 8-pin navigation processor coupling (12) and reconnect wires. Then close the connector again.
Component Identification:
3 Connect blue, 2-pin coupling for voltage supply (11) of navigation processor wiring harness to plug position 16 of rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).
Plug position 16 is marked in blue.
4 Route navigation processor wiring harness (1) as shown in the picture so that the blue length trimming marking (15) on the navigation processor wiring harness (1) matches the length trimming marking with the same color of the on-board wiring harness.
5 Connect pink line (rs) of navigation processor wiring harness (1) directly behind MOST coupling housing (10) with voltage distributor (16) to pink line (MOST wake-up line) of on-board wiring harness of the audio gateway control unit (see magnified view).
Component Identification:
6 Unclip black retaining clip (7) (see magnified view) of GPS antenna line (6) from navigation processor wiring harness (1) (is no longer required).
7 Connect GPS antenna line (6) from navigation processor wiring harness to GPS antenna connector (A2/49a2x1) in left of luggage compartment.
8 Route navigation processor wiring harness (1) as shown in the picture and fix into position with cable tie (see arrow) on rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) while preventing chafing or noise.
Navigation processor wiring harness (1) will be routed and fixed into position later on after installing the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).
